Another gem of Camp! Known for its bun maska, brun maska and Irani chai, Cafe diamond is a legend. Mostly flocked by regular patrons who have been coming here for many many years, this place has those old time vibes. You should visit Cafe Diamond Queen with family for a nice breakfast as they do have a seperate section. There are many things you can try here like their super buttery and crispy khari and chai, bheja masala, mutton dalcha on selected days (fridays), special Keema masala, simple keema fry, mutton crum chops, their sepcial chicken fry and mutton paya. Cafe Diamond Queen has a big list of items in their menu. Over all a must try place if you are in camp.

After several years, I went to Cafe Diamond Queen for breakfast. This is one of the oldest, well known places in Pune, especially the camp area and is a favourite of many people. You can see it bustling with long term patrons and customers from all segments of society. I had Mutton Keema, Bun maska and Tea. The keema was very tasty, right quantity and optimally spiced as usual. It complemented the Bun maska very well. A better match would be bread slice and keema or plain bun/ pav with keema. It was served with slices of onion and lemon. The Bun maska was on par with Bun maska from other Irani cafes. The Tea was typical of Irani restaurants, very well made and complemented the meal. All in all, a wonderful experience and worth repeating again as always.

Among all the Iranian restaurants, it currently stands unrivaled, whether considering their tea, kheema, or bunmaska. It is undoubtedly the best in the business right now, truly the king.

Visited **Diamond Queen** in Pune for breakfast with my family, and it was a wonderful experience! We tried the **bun maska**, **bun omelette**, and **milk tea**—each item was absolutely delicious. The bun was fresh and soft, the omelette was perfectly cooked, and the tea had just the right balance of flavor and warmth. The **service was excellent**—quick, polite, and attentive. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a **tasty and satisfying breakfast** spot in Pune. This is a beautiful cafe. Includes vibes of old pune, and a classy touch. The atmosphere seemingly reminds of the transition the city is going through. It is an aesthetic place with a variety of choices. I had brunch, starting with Irani Chai and Bun Maska, the quality and quantity of both were great. The sweetness of the chai, accompanying the fluffy buttery bun was beautiful. This followed a Chicken Cheese omlette and a Mutton Bheja Fry. Both the dishes tasted sublime and were fulfilling to both the stomach and the heart. The dishes appear to have an aesthetic which could well be related to that of a generation before us.It is one of the oldest Irani Cafes in Pune. Located in Camp area, I would heavily recommend this.

Excellent food and very quick service. Prices of the food could be a little affordable so people from every strata could enjoy. The mutton kheema was just awesome. Went here twice in 2 days. Will surely go many more times.

I genuinely believe this place deserves the Best Chai in the Universe award. As a true-blue chai lover, I ended up gulping four cups in one go — and honestly, I could’ve gone for more. The regular chai itself has that unmistakable royalty of authentic Irani chai, rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The interiors are austere, vintage and old-school, sitting right in the middle of the ever-bustling Pune Camp area, which only adds to the charm. This is a no-nonsense spot for quick snacks — no gimmicks, just solid, satisfying food. Do yourself a favor and skip other bun-maska joints — this one sets the benchmark. Expect it to be very, very crowded, and you might have to share tables, but that’s part of the experience. Thankfully, there’s a separate floor for families, which is a big plus. Apart from chai, you can happily munch on bun maska, biscuits, and just keep chit-chatting for hours. A special shoutout to the management for maintaining clean and hygienic washrooms and basins, which is not always a given at such iconic, crowded places. An absolute must-visit for chai lovers. ☕🔥
